Yale Young Global Scholars Launches 2016 Application

The Yale Young Global Scholars Program (YYGS) has launched its application for Summer 2016, and will offer six different sessions for talented high school students. The program continues to expand in response to the significant interest expressed by thousands of talented high school students in the United States and abroad. The new sessions also reflect Yale University’s core strengths and deep commitment to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

YYGS is an academic enrichment and leadership development program that brings together outstanding high school students from around the world for intensive two-week sessions on the Yale campus. In 2015, YYGS hosted 600 students, who represented 92 different countries and 50 U.S. states and territories. Students in YYGS attended lectures from distinguished Yale faculty, participated in small seminars led by Yale graduate and undergraduate students, and conducted group research projects which they presented at the end of their session.
