Six students from Yale affiliated with the Yale International Alliance’s Volunteer Service Program traveled across the country to Seattle for the week of March 11th to assist the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in WA.
They helped the IRC clients in creating their initial resumes in the United States, applying for jobs, and enrolling refugee children in school.
They also shadowed our Immigration, Development, Early Employment, and Operations teams, lending valuable support to various tasks.
Thank you, Yalies! Best of luck with the rest of the school year 💙
