Yale World Fellows: Lucky Number 13

Lucky cohort #13 has officially landed in New Haven.

A robotics engineer, an award winning actress and director, a Syrian peace activist, a 2012 candidate for President of Iceland… the 2014 World Fellows bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and creativity with them. They’re artists, scientists, writers, politicians, activists, engineers and diplomats. They’ve already started exploring campus, getting to know the University and the city. After a two-week orientation, they’re hitting the ground running: shopping classes at Yale, connecting with students and professors, and exploring the New Haven community.

Find out more about them here.

Want to get involved, meet the 2014 Fellows, invite one of them to an event, or ask them to speak? You can reach out to them directly on our website, through their individual bio pages.

Stay tuned for information about events, chances for you to meet the Fellows, and news about what we’re up to this semester. And save the date for World Fellows Night – September 18th from 5-8pm.

PS: With the addition of this year’s group (our 13th since the start of the program), there are now 257 Fellows in the network, representing and working in 84 countries. Our network is vibrant, active and so very valuable – please explore and get to know some of the amazing people who call themselves World Fellows. If you see an opportunity for collaboration, connection or otherwise – do reach out to them via our website.
