Yale and the COP21 Climate Talks From Nov. 30 until Dec. 11, leaders from across the world will convene in Paris for the latest round of climate talks, COP21, a much anticipated session that many hope will deliver a legally binding international climate agreement. Dozens of people from the Yale community will be on site playing a variety of roles during the historic talks, including several students from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. In the months leading up to COP21, and throughout the climate summit, we will share all Yale-related news coming from Paris on a new “climate portal” on the F&ES Web site. This week we share the stories of some of the F&ES students who will be on the ground at COP21, working on a range of projects for national governments, global NGOs, international coalitions, student organizations and Yale-based programs. |
