Professor Reddy is the President of the Public Health Foundation of India and formerly headed the Department of Cardiology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Widely regarded as a leader of preventative cardiology, he has worked to promote cardiovascular health, tobacco control, appropriate nutrition, chronic disease prevention and healthy living. He will discuss the global threat of non-communicable diseases, with a particular focus on India and the country’s quest for Universal Health Coverage as it tackles its evolving disease burden.
