Healing with Hope: In Conversation with Father Gregory Boyle

Join the Yale International Alliance and the Yale Divinity School for a heartfelt conversation with Father Gregory Boyle, founder of Homeboy Industries, and Gregory E. Sterling, dean of Yale Divinity School.

How can one experience real “life after death” on earth and who serves as witness? Is it possible for humanity to recognize and embrace our common kindship and cast away the illusion of our separation so that there is no “us and them”, but only “we together”?

These are questions addressed by Father Gregory Boyle during his over 3-decade long gang intervention and rehabilitation work. The stunning results of his work are changing the way we think about, give meaning to and build our “complete life” that transcends and unites various human belief systems. This “complete life” brings humanity together through our shared vulnerabilities and discovering our true selves through connection and community. Through inclusion, compassion, and love, thousands of witnesses have confirmed it’s indeed possible to experience life transformations regardless how hopeless one’s life circumstances are once we realize the separation is only an illusion.
