On October 21, 2023, we are discussing “Drive My Car” by Ryusuke Hamaguchi (Japan, 2021). “A renowned stage actor and director learns to cope with big personal loss when he receives an offer to direct a production of Uncle Vanya in Hiroshima.” The film is based on a story by Haruki Murakami.
