In their new book, Jay Gitlin ’71 and Basie Bales Gitlin ’10 explore the history of Mory’s, from its roots as a working-class tavern on Wooster and Court Streets to its century-long tenure on York Street as a private club for members of the Yale community. Their talk, featuring rarely seen archival images and even a few historic Mory’s songs, will chronicle an institution whose history is a key to deciphering Yale’s past.
