About the Event:
Marin is a Music Director at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and an artist in residence at the Southbank Centre. She has been acclaimed for many firsts, not least of which was her conducting Last Night of the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in September 2013 – the first woman to do so.

The YCL has secured admission for its members to a pre-concert talk with Marin Alsop and Gillian Moore, Head of Classical Music at the Southbank Centre, as well as arranged a brief post-concert private backstage meeting with Marin. Come join in this rare occasion to attend a concert conducted by a Yale alumna and to meet her in person afterwards.

N.B. The YCL has obtained a limited number of discounted tickets for its members which include the aforementioned perks. It is kindly requested that you make your booking through the YCL website to be assured access to the pre-concert talk and post-concert meeting with the conductor. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
