A panel of Yale Bulldogs, now executives of NBC Sports, will provide an inside look at what it takes to produce international sporting events—from the Summer and Winter Olympics to the Ryder Cup—that captivate the nation.

The panelists:

Peter Diamond ’74, Senior Vice President, Programming, NBC Olympics
Mr. Diamond, a 14-time Emmy Award-winner, is responsible for programming NBC’s coverage of the Olympic Games. He is a 1974 graduate of Yale College, where he wrote his senior essay on the revival of the Olympics.

Jon Litner ’85, Group President, NBC Sports Group
Mr. Litner is responsible for the NBC Sports Regional Networks and the Golf Channel. He is a 1985 graduate of Yale College, where he was a two-sport varsity athlete competing on the football and baseball teams.

Ron Vaccaro ’04, Editorial Director, NBC Sports & NBCSN
Mr. Vaccaro is responsible for research for NBC Sports & NBCSN. He is a 2004 graduate of Yale College, where he worked in sports publicity and was a broadcaster for WYBC. He has served as a play-by-play broadcaster for Yale Football since 2005.

Jack Ford ’72, Moderator, award winning journalist and sports broadcaster
Mr. Ford is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning journalist, documentary producer, prominent trial attorney, author, and teacher. He is a 1972 graduate of Yale College, where he was a three-year starter on the football team.
