As part of its 150th anniversary celebration, the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History has opened a satellite gallery, dubbed Peabody2, at 1 Broadway in New Haven.
Peabody2, which is free and open to the public, aims to create awareness of the history and collections of the museum, which is located at 170 Whitney Ave.
The exhibition on view, “Identity, Difference, and Understanding: Lessons from Oceania and Southeast Asia,” showcases the Peabody’s collections from New Guinea, Philippines, Indonesia and Australia.
