Dear YaleWomen –
Big news! Session One – “Taking Stock of Gender: Where We Are in 2014” from YaleWomen’s November 2014 Symposium, Gender Rules: Conversations about Access, Outcome and Equality is now available online. Click here to watch!
Last year, over 250 attendees, composed of alumni, faculty, graduate and undergraduate students gathered on Yale’s campus for the Gender Rules symposium on women’s equality. Organized by YaleWomen and the Yale Women Faculty Forum, the event was a huge success and YaleWomen is now making the symposium available to online audiences.
Session One – “Taking Stock of Gender: Where We Are in 2014” of the Gender Rules symposium focuses on the question: since Yale College went coed in 1969, what progress have we made? In the online video, listen to talks on the relationship between the educational pipeline and women in the top ranks of leadership.
Videos of Sessions Two, Three and Four will be available soon.
More big news! YaleWomen was honored at this month’s AYA Assembly with the 2015 AYA Outstanding Student Engagement Award, which goes to the alumni association program or event that best integrates and engages current Yale students. This was awarded to YaleWomen for the success of Gender Rules.
