Graduate Student Works to Increase Government Transparency in Ukraine

For the past 11 months, Will Schreiber—a graduate student in European and Russian Studies at Yale—has worked to promote transparent government in Kyiv, Ukraine. As an adviser in the office of Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, a former boxing champion-turned-politician. Schreiber focuses on developing programs that thwart corrupt practices. He recently spoke with the Yale Office of International Affairs about his work and how his experiences at Yale led him to this role.
