Ernesto Zedillo, Director of the Yale Center for the Study of Globalization, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin at his residence on April 29 as the culmination of a three-day visit to Moscow on a mission with The Elders.
Dr. Zedillo and his colleagues held constructive and open talks with President Putin in a meeting that lasted approximately 3 hours, and had separate discussions during the visit with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev and former Prime Minister Yevgeny Primakov.
