Yale World Fellows on World Water Day

March 22 is World Water Day, and the UN has asked us to turn our focus to a critical issue: the relationship between water and energy. Find out more about the objectives of this year’s World Water Day here.

As with every pressing global issue, our World Fellows are at the forefront of the movements pushing for water sustainability and energy security.  Roz Savage (‘12) and Ma Jun (04’), for example, are deeply connected to the issue and work tirelessly to promote conservation. You can see a full list of World Fellows working on environment and sustainability here.

Our World Fellow Gidon Bromberg (‘07) heads a groundbreaking organization called Friends of the Earth Middle East. The group brings together Jordanian, Palestinian and Israeli environmentalists in effort to protect a shared natural heritage that’s increasingly under threat.
