About Dr. Miranda Melcher: Dr. Miranda Melcher is a teacher, researcher, and author. She earned her PhD on post-conflict military reconstruction from King’s College London’s Defence Studies Department, following her MA in Intelligence and International Security from King’s College London and her BA in Political Science from Yale (Branford College). Her doctoral work focused on post-conflict military integration, understanding treaty negotiation and implementation in civil war contexts, with deep analysis of the Angolan and Mozambican civil wars.
