Film Society presents “Queen of Katwe”

On December 16, 2023, we are discussing “Queen of Katwe” by Mira Nair (India, 2016). This film explores a true story of a young girl from the streets of rural Uganda whose world rapidly changes when she is introduced to the game of chess.
Prior to our discussion, participants will watch the movie on streaming platforms available in their regions. Online options may include Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Prime Video, etc.
