On June 22, 2024, we are discussing “Black Orpheus” by Marcel Camus (Brazil 1959).
“A retelling of the Orpheus and Eurydice myth, set during the time of the Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro.”
Prior to our discussion, participants will watch the movie on streaming platforms available in their regions. Online options may include Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Prime Video, etc.
