DESCRIPTION:Join movie enthusiasts from our global alumni community to discuss and exchange views on films from around the world. And share your favorite film from your own country to view for discussion at a future meeting. \n\n\n\nOn December 16\, 2023\, we are discussing “Queen of Katwe” by Mira Nair (India\, 2016). This film explores a true story of a young girl from the streets of rural Uganda whose world rapidly changes when she is introduced to the game of chess.  \n\n\n\nPrior to our discussion\, participants will watch the movie on streaming platforms available in their regions.
