DESCRIPTION:Join movie enthusiasts from our global alumni community to discuss and exchange views on films from around the world. And share your favorite film from your own country to view for discussion at a future meeting. \n\n\n\nOn May 18\, 2024\, we are discussing “Quo Vadis\, Aida?” by Jasmila Zbanic (Bosnia 2020). \n\n\n\n“Bosnia\, July 1995. Aida is a translator for the UN in the small town of Srebrenica. When the Serbian army takes over the town\, her family is among the thousands of citizens looking for shelter in the UN camp.” \n\n\n\nPrior to our discussion\, participants will watch the movie on streaming platforms available in their regions.
